Any work on the electrical control cabinet or connection of the supplied components may be carried out only by personnel with the relevant professional electrical qualifications in accordance with the applicable regulations of the country in which the unit is commissioned!
The individual components of the unit are electrically connected to the controller terminals and tested at the factory as standard (fans, sensors, actuators, thermostats, pressure switches, electric heater, etc.).
Only the supplied peripheral devices need to be connected on site (POL822 remote controller, Touch Panel, CO2 sensor, duct temperature sensor, control valve assembly, etc.). All wiring diagrams are included in the accompanying project documentation for the unit, “Measurement and Control System for MANDÍK AHUs”.
The main power supply to the unit is normally provided on site. After routing the power cable through the cable gland in the electrical control cabinet, the cable must be connected to the appropriate terminals. The main electrical switch is located on the side of the control cabinet; see the description below.
Use the prepared screw-type cable glands located above the main switch to connect the supplied peripheral devices to the terminal block.
The main power supply wiring for the version with a water heater is shown in the diagram in the appendix.
The main power supply wiring for the version with an electric heater is shown in the diagram in the appendix.
The wiring of the peripheral devices – the CO2 sensor, POL822 remote controller and external supply air temperature sensor – is shown in the diagram in the appendix.
The CPX unit is equipped as standard with a main electrical switch that allows the unit to be safely disconnected from the electrical power supply. The main electrical switch is part of the unit, is clearly identifiable and is readily accessible to operating and service personnel.
The arrangement of the main electrical switch depends on the selected unit delivery version:
• For a unit with an external electrical control cabinet supplied by the manufacturer, the main electrical switch is part of this control cabinet.
• For a unit with an electrical control cabinet built into the unit, the main electrical switch is part of this control cabinet.
• For a unit supplied without a measurement and control system (without an electrical control cabinet), the main electrical switch is not included in the unit delivery. In this case, the operator or the professionally qualified installation company carrying out the electrical connection of the unit is responsible for the design, installation, location, accessibility and marking of the main electrical switch.
The electrical connection of the unit, verification of the correct operation of the main electrical switch and its marking may be carried out only by a person with the appropriate electrical qualifications, in accordance with the applicable legal regulations, project documentation and technical specification of the particular unit.
Before starting any work on the unit, particularly servicing, cleaning, maintenance, inspection of the electrical equipment or work on moving parts, the unit must be safely disconnected from the electrical power supply using the main electrical switch. If inadvertent or unauthorized re-energization is possible, the disconnecting device must be secured against being switched on again.
Before starting any service, maintenance, cleaning or operating activity during which contact may occur with the electrical equipment, moving parts of the unit or other hazardous parts, the unit must be safely shut down and disconnected from the electrical power supply.
Recommended procedure:
After completion of the work and before the unit is put back into operation, verify that all service doors and covers are closed, all safety devices are functional, no persons, tools or foreign objects remain inside the unit, and the unit is in a condition that allows safe operation.
