The unit may be put into trial operation only after all previous points have been fulfilled (assembly and installation, operations before initial start-up, …).
During the initial start-up of the unit, the following must be checked:
The fan must not be started when shut-off or control dampers are closed. Pressure shocks generated during functional tests of fire dampers or other dampers with a short changeover time to the closed position must be avoided.
The first test start-up of the unit should not exceed 30 min. Afterwards, the unit and all its sections must be comprehensively checked again.
After the initial commissioning, all inlet filters must be cleaned or, if necessary, replaced with new ones.
During the initial start-up, the following in particular must be checked:
During the check, proceed exclusively according to the sections describing only those chambers and built-in components that are actually installed in your unit.
Unit in general:
• Whether any inappropriate mechanical noises can be heard
• Check for excessive vibration of the unit
• Tightness of the joints between individual chambers and tightness of all additionally made penetrations through the unit casing
• All dampers on the end walls of the unit are open
Fans:
• Measurement of electric motor current consumption — it must not exceed the data on the nameplate
Water heat exchangers (heater/cooler):
• Tightness of the hydraulic system connections to the heat exchanger
• Correct function of the condensate drain siphon (height, filled with water)
Refrigerant heat exchangers (evaporator/condenser):
• Tightness of the refrigerant circuit
• Check of circuit parameter values (pressures, temperatures) in individual sections (high-pressure side, low-pressure side)
• Check of the functionality of individual circuit components (compressor, expansion valve, condensing unit fan, ...)
• Measurement of compressor current consumption -- it must not exceed the data on the nameplate
• Check of the refrigerant condition
• Correct function of the condensate drain siphon (height, filled with water)
Electric heater:
• The air velocity must not drop below 1 m/s.
• Measurement of current consumption at all power stages on all phases -- it must not exceed the data on the nameplate
Pecín gas heater:
• Correct setting and operation of the burner (combustion air quantity, supplied gas quantity, tightness of the burner connection to the heat exchanger, tightness of the gas train fittings and gas connection, ...) - always performed by a qualified service technician of the burner manufacturer
• Optimum flue gas temperature — it should not exceed 200°C
• The air downstream of the heat exchanger does not exceed +45°C
• Correct direction of rotation of the by-pass damper or, if necessary, switching the actuator switch, see section 5.28 INSTALLATION OF ACTUATORS
MONZUN gas heater:
• The heater may be commissioned exclusively by a service technician of MANDÍK, a.s. or by a person authorised for service activities by MANDÍK, a.s.
• The air downstream of the heat exchanger does not exceed +45°C
• Correct direction of rotation of the by-pass damper or, if necessary, switching the actuator switch, see section 5.28 INSTALLATION OF ACTUATORS
Plate heat recovery exchanger:
• Correct function of the condensate drain siphon (height, filled with water)
• Correct direction of rotation of the by-pass/mixing damper or, if necessary, switching the actuator switch, see section 5.28 INSTALLATION OF ACTUATORS
Rotary regenerative heat exchanger:
• Free running of the rotor
• Correct direction of rotation according to the direction arrow or, if necessary, interchange two phases in the electric motor terminal box
• Sufficient belt tension and no slipping of the drive pulley
• Condition and correct function of the rotor sealing profiles
• Measurement of electric motor current consumption — it must not exceed the data on the nameplate
• The velocity of the conveyed air at the exchanger must not exceed the recommended velocity of 4 m/s
• The pressure loss on the supply air or exhaust air side must not exceed the theoretical value stated in the technical specification by more than 15%
Damper chamber and end walls:
• Correct direction of rotation of the dampers or, if necessary, switching the actuator switch, see section 5.28 INSTALLATION OF ACTUATORS
Steam humidifier:
• Tightness of the circuit
• Check of the condition and fastening of the distribution tubes inside the chamber
