• Installation of the units may be carried out only by an authorized and qualified person. The person performing the installation must comply with the technical and legal regulations of the respective country, e.g. ČSN EN 45004, Act No. 174/68 Coll.
• Connection and grounding of the electric motor and all electrical installations must comply in particular with ČSN 33 2190, ČSN 33 2000-4-41, ČSN 33 2000-5-51, ČSN 33 2000-5-54, applicable regulations, and the specific environmental conditions with regard to safe operation.
• The unit and its accessories may be commissioned exclusively by an authorized and trained service technician who is familiar with the equipment and the associated hazards.
• Prior to installation of the unit, it is necessary to check the building readiness, power supply parameters, temperature and pressure of cooling (and for KJM heating) media, as well as the completeness and condition of all unit components.
• Any defects must be eliminated before installation.
• The unit and its accessories must be connected only to a power supply of 230 V / 400 V, 50 Hz.
• Access to the distribution cabinet to which the assemblies are connected must be ensured. In the distribution cabinet, all power components (circuit breakers, contactors, switches, etc.) must be clearly labeled with the equipment number according to the HVAC project documentation.
• During operator training, the presence of a representative of the installation company and the end user is recommended.
• During installation and handling of the unit, the use of protective gloves is recommended.
• During handling and lifting, the unit chambers must be transported only using forklift trucks or lifting straps, and the relevant safety regulations must be observed. The unit must not be transported above persons! See chapter Handling.
• Before installation, all supports and reinforcements supplied with the unit for transportation purposes must be removed.
The unit must not assume any functions of the building, such as static load-bearing of the building and related elements for unit operation, installation of walkways and electrical distribution systems, electrical switchboards, etc., except for cases expressly consulted with Mandík, a. s.
Failure to comply with this requirement will void the warranty provided by Mandík, a. s.!
The total fan external static pressure is designed for the specified external pressure losses upstream and downstream of the fan, see the technical specification of the unit. Accordingly, the installation of the air duct system must be carried out without additional local pressure losses, which could result, after air volume balancing, in a higher fan operating point and consequently increased electrical power consumption of the electric motors.
