• The minimum space required for basic maintenance and service depends on the specific door width stated in the technical specification of the given unit, but must be at least 600 mm.
• The minimum space required for repair and replacement of the equipment is the unit width + 200 mm.
• The minimum distance of combustible objects from the unit is 200 mm.
• In the case of outdoor installation, the units must be sufficiently fastened to the foundation for stability, according to the expected climatic conditions.
• Pay attention to the permitted handling of the chambers, as stated in the previous chapter (here).
• The units must be placed on a solid horizontal surface to which they can be firmly anchored. It is advisable to place damping material (e.g. rubber, cork) under the base frame of the unit at the installation site.
• The maximum permitted deviation from level is 0.5 % (0.3°).
• In the case of outdoor installation of the unit, it is recommended to place the unit on a steel frame (provided by the construction contractor). The maximum permitted deflection of the frame is 1/1000 of the length of the frame beam.
• Sufficient height of the unit above the floor/ground must be taken into account due to the required height of the siphons fitted to chambers with condensate drain; see the section SIPHON INSTALLATION.
Failure to maintain the stability or levelness of the base may result in deterioration of the unit function or even damage to the unit, such as misalignment of the fan impeller relative to the inlet nozzle, failure of chamber doors to close properly, etc.!
